Apple and Google
When you use Sign in with Apple or Google Sign-In, information is exchanged with the selected authentication provider as necessary to complete and maintain the login process.
Apple and Google also process purchases and subscriptions made through their respective app stores.
Shop and organization members
If your account belongs to a shared shop, business, team, or organization, authorized administrators and members may access information associated with that workspace, including inventory, pricing, and transaction records.
Public information
Information that you intentionally publish through a public storefront, event catalog, inventory listing, or similar feature may be viewed by other people.
Do not publish information through a public feature that you want to keep private.
Legal and safety purposes
We may disclose information when we reasonably believe disclosure is necessary to:
- Comply with applicable law, regulation, legal process, or government request;
- Protect the rights, property, or safety of Trovie, our users, or others;
- Investigate fraud, abuse, or security incidents;
- Enforce our agreements and policies; or
- Establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
Business transactions
Information may be transferred as part of a merger, financing, acquisition, restructuring, bankruptcy, or sale of some or all of Trovie, Inc.’s assets.
Any successor will be required to handle personal information in accordance with this Privacy Policy or provide notice of materially different practices.
No sale of personal information
Trovie does not sell or rent personal information.
Trovie does not disclose personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
4. Data Retention
We generally retain account information, inventory records, transaction information, and other account-linked data for as long as your Trovie account remains active and as necessary to provide the Services.
After an account is deleted, we delete information associated with the account unless continued retention is reasonably necessary to:
- Comply with legal, accounting, tax, or regulatory obligations;
- Detect or prevent fraud or security incidents;
- Resolve disputes;
- Enforce agreements;
- Complete a pending transaction; or
- Establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
Residual copies may remain temporarily in encrypted or access-restricted backups until those backups are overwritten through our ordinary backup cycle.
We may retain aggregated or de-identified information that can no longer reasonably be associated with you.
5. Account and Data Deletion
You may initiate deletion of your Trovie account in any of the following ways:
- In the app: Settings → Account → Delete Account
- On the web: https://app.trovie.io/account-deletion
- By email: [email protected]
Deleting your account will delete or de-identify the information associated with your Trovie account, subject to the limited retention circumstances described in this Privacy Policy.
Deleting your Trovie account does not delete your Apple ID or Google Account.
Revoking Trovie’s access through your Apple or Google account settings does not necessarily delete your Trovie account. You must use Trovie’s account-deletion process to delete the account and associated data.
Deleting your Trovie account may not automatically cancel an active Apple App Store or Google Play subscription. You should manage or cancel the subscription through the store where it was purchased or subscribed.
Account deletion does not by itself create a right to a refund.
We may request reasonable information to verify your identity before processing a privacy or deletion request.
6. Your Permissions and Choices
You may manage camera, photo, and location permissions through your device settings.
Disabling a permission may prevent the related feature from working but will not prevent you from using unrelated Trovie features.
You may update certain account and profile information through the app.
You may manage Sign in with Apple through your Apple account settings and Google Sign-In through your Google account settings.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, deletion of, restriction of, or a copy of certain personal information.
Privacy requests may be submitted to [email protected]. For general help with your account, settings, or app features, contact [email protected].
7. Security
Trovie uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information, including access controls, encrypted transmission, account authentication, tenant-level data separation, monitoring, and restrictions on service-provider access.
No security system or method of electronic transmission is completely secure. We cannot guarantee the absolute security of information.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your username and password and for notifying us at [email protected] if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization.
8. Children’s Privacy
Trovie is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
If you believe that a child under 13 has provided personal information to Trovie, contact us at [email protected] so we can investigate and delete the information where required.
9. International Processing
Trovie and its service providers may process information in the United States.
These countries may have privacy and data-protection laws that differ from those in your country or region. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international data transfers.
10. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes to Trovie, our data practices, legal requirements, or service providers.
When we make changes, we will revise the effective date above. We will provide additional notice when required by applicable law.
