Trovie Terms of Service
Last updated: August 12, 2026
Welcome to Trovie. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Trovie website and the Trovie mobile applications for iOS and Android (together, the “Service”), operated by Trovie, Inc., a Delaware corporation (“Trovie,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to any modifications we may make from time to time. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
2. Use of the Service
Trovie provides inventory, pricing, sales, and related tools for trading-card collectors, dealers, vendors, and hobby shops. You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of, restrict, or inhibit anyone else’s use of the Service.
You may not use the Service to misrepresent the identity, condition, grade, or authenticity of any item; to sell counterfeit or stolen goods; to access data belonging to another account or business; to interfere with or disrupt the Service; or to access the Service through automated means outside of any officially provided interface.
3. User Accounts
To access certain features you may need to create an account. You may register with an email address and password or sign in using Sign in with Apple or Google Sign-In. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep it current, and to notify us promptly at [email protected] if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization. If you use the Service on behalf of a business, you represent that you have authority to bind that business to these Terms.
If your account belongs to a shared shop, business, team, or organization, authorized administrators and members of that workspace may be able to access information associated with it. Trovie is not responsible for disputes among members of a shared workspace over access to or control of its data.
3.1 Age Requirement
Trovie is not intended for children under 13 years of age. By creating an account or using the Service, you represent that you are at least 13 years old. If you are between 13 and 18, you represent that you have your parent or guardian’s permission to use the Service. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected such information, we will promptly delete it.
3.2 Account Deletion
You may delete your account from within the app at Settings → Account → Delete Account, online at https://app.trovie.io/account-deletion, or by emailing [email protected]. Upon deletion you will lose access to your inventory records, sales history, and other data stored in your account. Deletion is handled as described in our Privacy Policy, including the limited circumstances in which we may retain certain information.
Deleting your Trovie account does not by itself cancel an active Apple App Store or Google Play subscription; you must manage or cancel that subscription through the store where it was purchased. Account deletion does not by itself create a right to a refund.
4. Pricing, Valuation, and Card Data
Card identification, catalog information, condition and grading details, and market pricing shown in the Service are provided for informational convenience only. This information is derived in part from third-party sources and is not guaranteed to be accurate, complete, or current.
Collectible card values are volatile and change frequently. Trovie does not appraise, authenticate, or grade cards, and nothing in the Service constitutes financial, tax, insurance, or investment advice. You should independently verify pricing, authenticity, and condition before relying on the Service for any purchase, sale, consignment, insurance, tax, or other financial decision. Trovie is not liable for losses arising from reliance on data displayed in the Service.
Where the Service displays converted foreign-currency amounts, those amounts are estimates and may not reflect the rate available in an actual transaction.
5. Transactions Between Users
Trovie provides tools that help businesses track and manage their own inventory and sales. Unless expressly stated otherwise, Trovie is not a party to, and does not guarantee, any sale, trade, or other transaction between a business and its customers or between users. Any dispute concerning a transaction — including price, condition, authenticity, payment, or delivery — is solely between the transacting parties. Trovie is not responsible for transactions or communications that occur outside the Service.
6. Subscriptions and Payments
Certain features may require a paid subscription or in-app purchase. Pricing and billing terms will be disclosed at the point of purchase.
Purchases made through the iOS or Android app are billed and processed by Apple or Google through their respective in-app purchase systems and are subject to those platforms’ payment and refund policies. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period; you can manage or cancel a subscription in your Apple ID or Google Play account settings, or through your Trovie billing settings for purchases made on the web.
Refunds for app store purchases are handled by Apple or Google under their own policies. We may change subscription pricing prospectively with reasonable notice. Questions about billing or your subscription may be directed to [email protected].
7. Intellectual Property
7.1 Trovie’s Intellectual Property
The Service, including its design, features, code, graphics, logos, and trademarks, is owned by Trovie or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, reverse engineer, or create derivative works based on the Service without our prior written consent, except as permitted by applicable law.
7.2 Your Content
You retain ownership of the inventory data, images, and other content you submit to the Service. By submitting content, you grant Trovie a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, display, and process that content as needed to provide, maintain, and improve the Service. You represent that you have the rights necessary to submit your content and that it does not violate any third party’s rights or applicable law.
7.3 Third-Party Trademarks
Names of trading card games, publishers, marketplaces, and grading companies referenced in the Service are the property of their respective owners and are used for identification purposes only. Trovie is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by any of them unless expressly stated.
8. Third-Party Services
The Service may link to or rely on third-party services and data providers. Trovie does not control those third parties and is not responsible for their content, accuracy, availability, or practices. Your use of any third-party service is subject to that provider’s own terms.
9. Data Portability
Where an export feature is available in the Service, you may use it to obtain a copy of your inventory data; for assistance with an export, contact [email protected]. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to request a copy of certain personal information. Those requests may be submitted to [email protected], and are handled as described in our Privacy Policy.
10. Enforcement and Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time if we determine that you have violated these Terms, engaged in fraudulent activity or chargebacks, or used the Service unlawfully. We may pursue legal action where necessary to protect the integrity of the Service. You may stop using the Service at any time. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive.
11. Arbitration and Class Action Waiver
In the event of a dispute arising from your use of the Service, you agree that the dispute will be resolved through final and binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association, conducted in Fulton County, Georgia. By agreeing to these Terms you waive your right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration. Either party may bring an individual claim in small claims court, and either party may seek injunctive relief in court for intellectual property infringement or unauthorized access to the Service.
12. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that any card identification, pricing, or valuation data will be accurate or complete.
13. Limitation of Liability
In no event shall Trovie, its officers, employees, or affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunity, arising from your use of the Service.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Trovie’s total cumulative liability for all claims arising out of or related to the Service shall not exceed the greater of (a) the total amount you paid to Trovie during the twelve (12) months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) one hundred dollars ($100.00 USD).
14. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Trovie, its officers, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or in connection with: (a) your use of the Service; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your violation of any third-party rights, including intellectual property or privacy rights; or (d) any content you submit through the Service.
15. App Store Terms
Apple. If you obtained the app from the Apple App Store, you acknowledge that these Terms are between you and Trovie only, not with Apple, and that Apple is not responsible for the app or its content. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the app. If the app fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple and Apple will refund the purchase price, if any; to the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation with respect to the app. Apple is not responsible for addressing any claims relating to the app, including product liability, regulatory compliance, or consumer protection claims, and Trovie, not Apple, is responsible for investigating and defending any claim that the app infringes a third party’s intellectual property rights. You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated as a terrorist-supporting country, and that you are not on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.
Google. If you obtained the app from Google Play, you acknowledge that these Terms are between you and Trovie only, that Google is not a party to these Terms and is not responsible for the app, and that Google is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms to the extent required by the Google Play Developer Distribution Agreement.
You also agree to use the app in compliance with the applicable Apple App Store or Google Play terms of service.
16. Privacy
Our collection, use, disclosure, and retention of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Trovie does not sell or rent personal information and does not disclose personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Certain features request access to your device camera, photo library, or location. These permissions are optional and can be managed through your device settings; disabling a permission may prevent the related feature from working but will not prevent you from using unrelated features of the Service.
Information you intentionally publish through a public storefront, event catalog, inventory listing, or similar feature may be viewed by others. Do not publish through a public feature any information you want to keep private.
17. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is held invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect, and the affected provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable while preserving the original intent of the parties.
18. Changes to the Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page and, where required by law, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Service following any change constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
19. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any legal action or proceeding arising under these Terms shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Fulton County, Georgia.
